Appointment Scheduling

Design a mobile application for aftermarket automotive repair shops. App allows users to schedule an appointment from shop's website. Integrate with shop's management system to coordinate time available and duration of service selected.

Appointment Scheduling is a convenient form of communication between business and consumer with instant booking capabilities, online access, and customer reminders.

The Problem

Users struggled with the lack of a simple online appointment booking system and were required to call the shop directly to schedule services. This process consumed valuable staff time, as employees had to answer calls, check availability, determine the time needed for specific services, and manually book appointments. Additionally, missed appointments were common because customers often forgot their scheduled times.

The business goals were to develop a product that would increase customer acquisition and help the company gain market share.

Research

User feedback, market research, and competitive analysis identified the appointment scheduler as a product in demand. Competitors are investing in product development specifically in online access, shop management integration, customer reminders, and AI order to gain market share.

Solution

The solution for the user was defined as an API application that can integrate into new or existing websites. In order to address business goals, a complete CRM product was also created. This would create a complete cycle of the CRM services by providing tools for customer acquisition, bookings, communications, and analytics.

Customer Journey

The customer journey was defined. Deeper understanding of the user's pain points and the potential solutions were discovered.

User Flow

The user flow determine best user experience. App would be used on websites so the ability for custom branding was an added requirement.

Desktop App

An admin app was needed to setup appointment scheduler, for customizations, and analytics
